People in Kansas love our public schools. I believe our tax money should stay in these schools. We should not spend that money on private school plans that hurt our local kids. To help our state grow, we must give our schools the money they need. We also need to treat our teachers with respect for the hard work they do.

Education

For a long time, many working people in Kansas have gone without health insurance. This is also hard on our small-town hospitals. Getting help from a doctor should not depend on how much money you make. Expanding Medicaid is a smart move. It helps our families stay healthy and keeps our state's economy strong.

But a great neighborhood also needs public parks, libraries, and good public transit. I also believe that sidewalks are a big deal. Every person should be able to walk safely through their own neighborhood. I will work to bring state money back home to fix our streets and make our community a better place to live.
